Really when you think about it – the biggest trick to getting your online presence right is by being super organized with it. A beautiful website is a complete disaster if your user can’t find the information she seeks. Your Facebook page is a mess if your connections can’t figure out how to link back to your offers and info.
Same too goes for how you present your business or mission. If you’re unclear about what it is you’re trying to do; guess what – so are the people you’re trying to reach! Or how about this: if you’re completely random with your social network updates, with no clear pattern or persona your audience will likely always be somewhat confused about your goals.
I help people figure out what pieces of their projects go where in this new world of digital outreach. I walk a client through a series of questions designed to help you get a handle on your own business, your own goals. We finish up that process with you stating 5 goals for the next year and five goals for the next five years. I help you identify specific, accomplishable goals that are directly related to your stated mission.
One we have these elements then I can lay out a plan of action based on your mission, goals and resources! That’s it! I design a plan that shows you how to reach your audiences in ways your resources allow in easy to understand ways.
There is an art to organization. Knowing what the pieces are, seeing them laid out, makes it much easier to see. With step by step instructions (like a marketing plan of action) you could re-assemble this chainsaw a whole bunch easier from the second photograph than you could from the first.
The art, by the way, is from a series he’s named “Things Come Apart” by artist Todd McLellan. See more here. They are fascinating and somehow so beautiful!
